The board of trustees meets once a month on the third Thursday of the month at the East Wellington Fire Department.
Meetings start at 7:00pm and run usually about 90 mins. Sometimes meetings maybe held on a different date to accommodate our schedules. After all, we are just volunteers. If the meeting dates are to change, the new date will be posted on this website. Meetings are open for observation to the residents of mountain fire protection district. If any tax payer in the district wishes to speak at a meeting they must submit a written request to the trustees by at least 1pm on the Monday prior to the meeting. This request must state the agenda item to be discussed. More information regarding meeting conduct can be found in Bylaw 86.
